Cactus WimpOut has been getting a lot of kind comments about the art and specifically the characters. I wanted to take some time to talk about the characters that fill the world. But first I wanted to thank everyone I worked with and all of the people that have played and left comments. This really makes the sleep deprivation/process worth it.

Single Scoop! This icy cool fella is warm and kind. They're a lovable scamp that will always back you.  They're a wizard (note the hat) and the contribution to the team is nothing short of magical!

White Knight Onion Knight! Noble, loyal, armored, will-make-you-cry.  The finesse he brings to combat outweighs his armor. He has a weird fascination with poetry and dowry. Not sure what that's about.

Co'la Cultist! Devout servant to the outer god Co'Cau Co'lah.  His dark arts contrast with his bubbly personality. Refreshing and cool, this robed buddy will give you the pep your team needs!

Bloobking! All hail this wild and joyous lord! High in vitamin C and vitality, see? Royal blood runs through this friend, but his behaviour is not bringing him to the guillotine, just into your guillo-team.

Bell-Ringing Pepper! That which is dead cannot die again.  This fermenting friend has one seed in the living world and the world beyond. Their life wavers, but their desire to help you never will.  This pimenton is the spice your variety of life needs.

Zonk break! If you've made it this far you've seen a lot of the friends available in the game. But sadly not all friends can make it, this was a timed game jam and some friends have poor time management skills they've yet to overcome.  Let's talk about one of those friends.

CherryBomb Jubilee! She is the wildcard, the one that is either going to be a horrible wreck or a beautiful disaster-piece. Her explosive personality is usually a wonderful surprise, perhaps sometimes an unwanted visit. She is sweet and has a burning love for her friends. She's the perfect cherry on top for any team!

The food friend wrangler, Cactus Farklin Frank.  He can seem mean, but he's actually an old softy. He rolls the dice around here and makes sure everyone is getting along and staying on task. He's been around these parts for ages and knows them like the back of his hand, which he knows very well.
